The Block 2026: 5 Walk-In Wardrobe Reveals

What a week it’s been on The Block! Between baby news, dental dramas and some seriously impressive reveals, Week 3 has delivered plenty of highs, lows and plenty to talk about.

This week, it was all about the master bedrooms and wardrobes, with each couple creating their own take on the ultimate retreat. But a great main suite is about more than just the bed. The walk-in wardrobe has become an important part of the overall design, and this year’s contestants have shown just how much personality, style and functionality can be packed into the space.

From warm timber and bronze accents to soft neutrals, stone benchtops and clever storage solutions, each built-in wardrobe was designed to complement its adjoining master bedroom while making everyday routines that little bit easier.

With Darren Palmer, Marty Fox and Shaynna Blaze judging the reveals, every detail was under scrutiny. And while there was plenty of discussion around the master bedrooms themselves, the wardrobes proved they deserved their own moment in the spotlight.

Here’s a look at the five walk-in wardrobes from Week 3 of The Block 2026.

House 1: Adam & Jolene

Score: 25/30

Place: Equal 2nd 

Adam and Jolene’s master bedroom walk-in wardrobe is all about understated luxury. Their Nordic-inspired timber palette creates a warm, cohesive feel throughout the space, with the same Nordic Oak Woodmatt carried across the wardrobe doors, internals and island cabinetry.

A striking Cosentino Dekton Khalo benchtop takes centre stage, adding a sophisticated stone element to the natural timber, while bronze handles bring warmth and contrast. “We have the same colours, movement and feeling of what would be natural ‘Patagonia stone’ but as Dekton,” praised Darren. Shaynna gravitated towards the bench seat, noting that she would love to see an upholstered cushion.  

And it’s not just about looks. Adam and Jolene have packed the space with considered Häfele wardrobe storage accessories, including generous hanging space, open shelving, glass-front drawers and dedicated storage for shoes, trousers, ties and belts. Integrated lighting helps illuminate the wardrobe, while a rotating shoe rack, wardrobe lift and folding mirror add plenty of practical touches.

It’s a well-organised space that combines the couple’s love of natural materials with the functionality needed from a hard-working walk-in wardrobe.

House 2: Chantel & Wyatt

Score: 25/30

Place: Equal 2nd 

Chantel and Wyatt brought a sense of quiet luxury to their master bedroom walk-in wardrobe, creating a soft and timeless space that feels both polished and practical.

“This is very light, white and bright,” Darren said as soon as he and the other judges walked into the space. 

Our new Greige Matt shaker-style wardrobe doors are paired with warm Nordic Oak Woodmatt internals, giving the space plenty of warmth and texture. Brass-look handles add a refined touch, while the marble-look Cosentino Eclos Wondr island bench brings another layer of luxury to the room. The judges were quick to compliment the stone chosen for the benchtop. “I think it’s incredible,” Shaynna said.

The wardrobe has been designed with everyday functionality in mind, with drawers, shelving, glass-front storage and compartment trays providing plenty of options for clothing and accessories. Dedicated shoe and trouser storage, hampers and wardrobe inserts help keep everything organised and within easy reach.

Integrated lighting and a folding mirror complete the space, creating a wardrobe that feels right at home alongside the master bedroom.

While the judges were disappointment in the lack of styling in the wardrobe, they were impressed with the amount and blend of storage- which is crucial to any wardrobe and bedroom storage.

House 3: Lisa & Rosco – Winners

Score: 27/30

Lisa and Rosco’s winning walk-in wardrobe proves that sometimes, the most successful spaces are the ones where every element simply feels right.

Soft and serene, the wardrobe is finished in our new Pale Oak Woodmatt across both the doors and internals, creating a seamless, tonal look that complements the adjoining master bedroom beautifully. A Cosentino Eclos Tajnar stone island adds a striking focal point, while bronze handles introduce a subtle contrast to the warm timber palette.

“It absolutely ticks the description of quiet luxury, and it definitely feels coastal,” smiled Darren. “Tick, tick, tick. Tick!”   

Inside, the wardrobe is just as considered. Drawers, shelving and dedicated inserts provide organised storage, while wardrobe lifts and lift tops make use of the upper levels. A trouser rack and tie and belt rack keep everyday essentials in order, with integrated Flexi LEDs and a folding mirror completing the space.

The overall result is a calm, cohesive walk-in wardrobe that works with the master bedroom rather than competing with it – and clearly, it was a combination that caught the judges’ attention- and points!

House 4: Courtney & Sev

Score: 17/30

Place: 4th

Courtney and Sev made the most of their galley-style walk-in wardrobe, creating a warm and functional space that brings a little extra luxury to the everyday getting-ready routine.

Alpaca Sand wardrobe doors are paired with our new Linen Whisper Matt internals, while Cosentino Dekton Trevi benchtops run throughout the space. Bronze handles complete the warm tonal palette and help tie the different materials together.

One of the standout features is the dedicated makeup zone, complete with an integrated Bluetooth mirror. It’s a clever addition that turns the wardrobe into more than just a place to get dressed, giving the space another layer of functionality.

Inside, wardrobe drawers, hanging space and inserts provide organised storage, while dedicated trouser, tie and belt and scarf storage keep everyday essentials in their place. House 5: Rick & Tayla

Place: 3rd

Rick and Tayla brought a relaxed coastal feel to their master bedroom walk-in wardrobe, combining warm timber, textural detailing and practical storage.

Nordic Oak Woodmatt features across both the wardrobe doors and internals, creating a warm foundation for the space. The new Linea profile adds subtle texture to the doors, while Gunmetal Lip Pull handles introduce a contemporary edge. The judges praised the selection of lip pull handles, saying that they were central to making the galley-style layout feel a lot bigger that the very similar design next door in House 4. 

A Cosentino Dekton Nara benchtop forms part of a dedicated makeup table, with its cool, organic tones creating a subtle contrast against the warmth of the timber. It’s a combination that feels relaxed and approachable while still sitting comfortably within a master suite.

Inside, wardrobe drawers, glass-front storage and shelving provide plenty of versatility for clothing and accessories. If Week 3 proved anything, it’s that the walk-in wardrobe has become a key part of the modern master bedroom.

Across the five houses, each team took a different approach, from the warm Nordic-inspired timber of Adam and Jolene and the soft greige palette of Chantel and Wyatt, to Lisa and Rosco’s serene winning design. Courtney and Sev made clever use of their galley layout, while Rick and Tayla embraced a relaxed coastal feel.

But despite their differences, there was one thing they all had in common: the wardrobes were designed as part of the master bedroom, not as an afterthought.

With clever storage, considered materials and plenty of personality, this year’s wardrobes show how the right design can make getting ready feel less like a daily chore and more like part of the luxury of a beautifully designed home.
