The Block 2026: 5 Guest Suite Wardrobe Reveals

Guest Suite Week has wrapped up on The Block 2026, with the five teams revealing their latest spaces in their Mount Eliza homes. This week, the contestants were challenged to create welcoming guest retreats that balance style and functionality, with each team putting their own design stamp on the brief.

The built-in wardrobes were an important part of each Guest Suite, combining practical wardrobe storage with the overall design aesthetic. From warm oak finishes and sophisticated colour palettes to clever storage solutions, integrated lighting and dedicated study or make-up areas, each team has approached their wardrobe design differently.

Now that the Guest Suite reveals are in, we’re taking a closer look at the five wardrobe designs from The Block 2026 and the wardrobe ideas they offer for creating a stylish, functional space for guests.

House 1: Adam & Jolene

Place: Equal 2nd

Score: 25.5

Adam and Jolene brought understated warmth to their Guest Suite with a built-in wardrobe designed around a cohesive coastal-inspired oak palette. Nordic Oak Woodmatt carries across the wardrobe doors and internals, creating a seamless look that complements the relaxed feel of the room, while brushed brass pull handles introduce a refined touch of warmth.

Inside, a combination of drawers, shelving and hanging space provides plenty of practical storage for visiting guests. Integrated LED light bars with door sensors make it easy to find what you need, while a dedicated run of decorative open shelving adds an opportunity to display personal touches and styling pieces.

The judges loved the use of colour throughout the rooms, with Marty Fox saying, “They’re really good with their tones!” Shaynna liked the look of the Freedom Wardrobe but wished that the open shelving on the end was a bit shallower to allow for more hanging space.

House 2: Chantel & Wyatt

Place: Equal 2nd

Chantel and Wyatt created a sense of quiet luxury to their Guest Suite wardrobe, pairing new Greige Matt doors with warm oak internals and satin brass handles. The combination creates a sophisticated yet welcoming palette, with subtle contrast between the soft neutral cabinetry and timber-look interior.

The wardrobe has been designed with guests’ needs in mind, incorporating soft-close drawers, hanging rails and open shelving for versatile storage. Integrated LED light bars and door sensors add another layer of functionality, creating a polished, hotel-inspired feel.

All the judges were impressed with the wardrobe and the amount of storage that it offers guests- noting that it had double the drawer and hanging space as House 1 next door.

House 3: Lisa & Rosco

Place: 3rd

Score: 23.5 

Built in timber oak wardrobe with desk study zone

Lisa and Rosco have created a soft and serene wardrobe space, with Pale Oak Woodmatt used across both the doors and internals for a cohesive, tonal finish. A travertine-inspired benchtop adds texture and contrast, while brushed bronze handles bring a warm finishing detail to the cabinetry.

Inside, a mix of hanging space, open shelving and soft-close drawers keeps guests’ belongings organised, while integrated LED light bars with door sensors add practical illumination. A dedicated study or make-up desk, finished with a feature stone benchtop, completes the space, providing a versatile spot to get ready, work or settle in.

The judges loved the couples’ ensuite declaring that it was a ten of ten, but unfortunately the bedroom wasn’t at the same level, with Shaynna suggesting they restyle it to give it a new look and elevation.

House 4: Courtney & Sev

Place: Winners

Score: 29.5 (thanks to two perfect 10s!)

You know a room is special when both Darren and Marty award it a perfect 10 out of 10! Brimming with wardrobe ideas, Courtney and Sev’s winning Guest Suite makes clever use of space, combining a built-in wardrobe with a dedicated bar nook to create a multifunctional area for guests. Pale Oak Woodmatt cabinetry brings warmth to the space, while brushed dark brass handles and Cosentino Eclos Tajnar surfaces add a sophisticated contrast.

Inside the wardrobe, a combination of smart storage and integrated lighting keeps guests’ belongings organised and easily accessible. The kitchenette takes the design beyond traditional wardrobe storage, creating a welcoming spot for guests to prepare a drink or relax during their stay.

The judges were blown away by the design, with their attention immediately drawn to the Freedom Wardrobe and its integrated kitchenette. Marty praised the inclusion of a TV, sink and coffee machine, while Darren pointed out the fridge, toaster and kettle, calling out the thoughtful amenities and functionality of the space. Comparing it to a luxurious hotel suite, the judges said the design would add significant value to House 4 and loved it even more than the girls’ main bedroom from Week 3. Shaynna summed up their reaction, saying, “this is the first room today that I feel like I could live here!”

House 5: Rick & Tayla

Place: 4th

Score: 17

With Rick recovering from illness, Tayla took charge of the Guest Suite with the help of ex-Block contestant Spencer. The wardrobe embraces a relaxed coastal aesthetic, pairing warm Nordic Oak Woodmatt cabinetry with contemporary gunmetal handles. The timber-look finish creates a warm foundation, while the darker hardware adds a modern edge.

A dedicated study and make-up desk introduces additional functionality, finished with a marble-look surface that provides a subtle contrast to the warmth of the cabinetry. Integrated drawers, LED lighting and door sensors make everyday storage simple, while open shelving creates space for personal touches and decorative pieces.

The result is a relaxed and functional wardrobe that feels well suited to a guest space, giving family and friends everything they need for a comfortable stay.
