Inside Courtney and Sev’s winning wardrobes

The main bedroom walk-in wardrobe

In the main bedroom, a galley-style walk-in wardrobe makes the most of the available space, combining warm finishes, beautiful materials and practical storage.

Alpaca Sand wardrobe doors are paired with our new Linen Whisper Matt internals, creating a soft, understated palette, while Cosentino Dekton Trevi surfaces continue the refined look throughout the space. A dedicated makeup table with an integrated Bluetooth mirror is a standout feature, adding a touch of everyday luxury. Bronze handles complete the warm, cohesive finish.

Inside, the wardrobe is designed around everyday functionality, with a combination of drawers, hanging space and dedicated inserts for trousers, ties, belts and scarves. Wardrobe lifts make upper storage more accessible, while integrated LED lighting illuminates the interiors and adds a beautiful finishing touch.

Two winning guest spaces

Courtney and Sev’s guest rooms were among the standout spaces of their Block journey, with both featuring thoughtfully designed Freedom built-in wardrobes.

Their first major win came in the opening week of the competition, when their guest bedroom took out the House Decider challenge, earning them first pick of the homes. The built-in wardrobe complements the room’s soft, neutral palette, pairing neutral doors with warm timber-look internals and brushed brass handles. A combination of hanging space, shelving and drawers provides plenty of room for guests, while integrated LED lighting adds to the overall finish.

They raised the bar again during Guest Suite Week, scoring an impressive 29.5 out of 30 and securing the first perfect scores of the season. Designed as a self-contained retreat, the suite (shown above) brings together a built-in wardrobe and dedicated bar nook, creating a space that feels both considered and welcoming.

Pale oak cabinetry and brushed nickel accents establish a warm, refined aesthetic, while the bar nook’s stone-look surfaces introduce soft veining that echoes Taj Mahal quartz. Inside the wardrobe, integrated lighting and well-planned storage make the most of the available space, ensuring the suite is as practical as it is beautiful.

Storage that adds value

Courtney and Sev’s result is a fantastic finish to The Block 2026, and their wardrobes are a great example of how thoughtful storage can contribute to the overall design and functionality of a home.

Rather than treating wardrobes as an afterthought, the pair incorporated them into the design of each space, considering finishes, layout and practical details alongside the broader interiors.

” Courtney and Sev showed how much a well-designed wardrobe can contribute to a home. From the main bedroom walk-in wardrobe to the guest spaces, every design balances style with practical storage, creating spaces that look beautiful and work hard behind the scenes,” says Felicity Page, Designer at Freedom Kitchens & Wardrobes.

Congratulations to Courtney and Sev, and to all five teams on an incredible season of The Block 2026.
