How to: Create an entertainer’s kitchen
As 2023 comes to a close, now is the perfect time to start preparing your kitchen for summer entertaining! From family get-togethers to gatherings of friends, we share our 7 top tips for creating the ultimate entertainer’s kitchen and how to make hosting a joy this festive season.
1. Clear your benches.
We always put this at the top of our list, as clearing your bench space is one of the easiest, quickest, and most impactful ways to ensure your kitchen is ready for guests! Creating a sense of space and cleanliness, a kitchen bench free from clutter provides extra prep and serving space – especially cross your kitchen island bench – a lifesaver when you have family and freinds over!
2. Organise your drawers and cupboards.
A quick spring clean of heavily used areas within your kitchen makes light work of entertaining. Sort and organise your cutlery and utensil drawers so you readily have these essentials at hand. Likewise, a tidy drawer or kitchen cabinet with dinnerware and glassware ensures you can easily and quickly serve your guests delicious meals.
3. Create a seating zone.
As the heart of your home, your kitchen is one of the main rooms in which family and guests will gather. Now that your kitchen is beautifully clean, organised, and ready for guests, add styling elements to your space for a pop of colour, personality, and warmth.
