We’ve seen the beautiful finishes, wardrobe doors, design features and followed the judges’ scores during Main Bedroom & Walk-in Wardrobe Week. But look a little closer at the walk-in wardrobes from The Block 2026, and you’ll find another layer of design that deserves just as much attention: the wardrobe storage accessories.

Across all five homes, the contestants used a range of clever wardrobe accessories by Häfele to make their walk-in wardrobes work harder. From dedicated shoe and trouser storage, garment storage, to wardrobe lifts, integrated lighting and beautifully organised drawers, these details are what turn a wardrobe from somewhere simply to store clothes into a personalised dressing space.

1.Make the most of every centimetre with a wardrobe lift

High-level storage can be incredibly useful, but only if you can actually reach it.

Wardrobe lifts featured in several of The Block 2026 built-in wardrobes, including the spaces designed in Houses 1, 3, 4 and 5.

A wardrobe lift makes it easier to access clothing stored higher up, allowing you to take advantage of the full height of your cabinetry rather than leaving valuable storage space unused.

For seasonal clothing, occasion wear or pieces you don’t reach for every day, this is a particularly practical solution.

That’s why dedicated shoe storage featured in Adam and Jolene’s walk-in wardrobe, with a show-stopping rotating shoe rack and Varano shoe rack inserts providing a more organised way to store and access footwear.
