COURTNEY & HANS’ KITCHEN ON THE BLOCK
Courtney and Hans’ Kitchen in The Block 2018 is a clever kitchen design featuring luxe metallic glam and lots of light.
This kitchen makes the most of a small space and packs a metallic punch. A floor to ceiling wall of grey-toned Freedom kitchens cabinetry in the Charcoal and Paperbark allows the metallic Champagner wall units to be a shining feature, injecting a sense of luxury and glam to the new kitchen space.
While an existing column presented a challenge for the positioning of the benchtop, the contestants chose to incorporate it into the structure of the island, creating a feature out of something that could have been an eyesore. Caesarstone® White Attica benchtops were used throughout, presenting a clean white base with touches of dark grey vein which ties back to the tones in the cabinetry.
The clever design includes a small butler’s pantry tucked away behind the kitchen, and lots of natural lighting floods throughout the space, entering from windows above the Champagner cabinetry.
